How to pack for TANSHIN PLAN

1. How to Fold the Box

• Fold the small flaps down first, followed by the large flaps at the bottom of the box. Secure the box by applying tape along the center seam and over all edge seams. Flip the box upright to prepare for packing.
Note: Please avoid folding the small and large flaps in the wrong order, as this may cause improper sealing and compromise the box’s strength.

2. How to Use Bubble Wrap and Kraft Paper

• Place the item on bubble wrap and wrap it completely, covering all edges. Ensure protruding parts, such as handles, are wrapped for extra protection. For items with lids, turn the lid upside down and place bubble wrap between the lid and the pot to prevent breakage.

3. How to Arrange Items in the Box

• Arrange similar items in the same direction. If there are gaps between items, fill them with kraft paper to prevent items from shifting during transit.

Important Precautions

Proper packing is essential to prevent damage. If the box is bulging or there’s a rattling sound when shaken, the packing may be inadequate and could lead to breakage. Adjust the packing by arranging items securely but not too tightly, and add cushioning materials if necessary.

Please label each box with its number on the top and all four sides. Write “FRAGILE” in red on the top of the box if it contains breakable items.

Prepare a detailed packing list for each box. You may complete the packing list in English. Please fill out the required customs forms for your destination, which our staff will bring on the moving day.

Place all necessary documents for customs (such as the checklist, passport copy, packing list, invoice, etc.) in an envelope and put it on top of your items inside the box. If you are shipping more than one box, please place these documents in box number “1”.
