Types of
Cross Border Services

The Cross Border services by Yamato Unyu (Thailand) consist of two different types that focus on trucks as the main vehicle.

1. FTL (Full Truck Load)

FTL is ideal for customers who possess a huge number of products or wish to charter the entire container for transit shipment. The company offers a wide range of containers from 40’FT, 40’HC, and 45’FT, as well as various trucks, such as 4-wheelers, 6-wheelers, 10-wheelers, 6-wheel trailers, and 10-wheel trailers. To ensure fast service and product safety, FTL is strictly set to reach the destination without stopping at any locations on the way. Custom-made service is also available to match the customers’ preferences.

2. LTL (Less Than Truck Load)

LTL suits customers who wish to ship a smaller number of products or do not require the whole container space. This means that the truck contains the products of other customers during its journey. LTL involves more stops resulting in a longer process of transit shipment and also offers limited availability per week with cheaper fees than those of FTL are the perks of this type of service.

In addition, Yamato Unyu (Thailand) also has ‘Last Mile Delivery’ that allows customers to select their preferred truck that matches the product quantity. Our staffs members will carry on the transit shipment from one of Yamato Unyu (Thailand)’s warehouses to the desired destination.
